By the time she was 13, Chef Suchint (aka Suzie) knew that she was going to be a chef. Growing up in Punjab, food was an integral part of Chef Suchint’s life growing up.  Her family is all about food - they are farmers, excellent cooks and khandani hosts. 

Trained in hospitality with an Oxford Brookes programme and as a chef at Melbourne University, Suzie started merging her North Indian food foundations built up from a lifetime in the kitchen with her mother and grandmothers, with cooking techniques from around the world.

Her food philosophy came together while working in Melbourne at a fusion restaurant run by a Japanese chef. The kitchen had a team of chefs from around the world who brought their own styles and techniques to the dishes they put out.  This experience shaped her approach to food leading to her own unique fusion style. 

She has perfected her technique over the last decade with her catering business in Chandigarh, in her capacity as consulting chef and head chef with restaurants in Mumbai, Delhi and Goa. 


Kanak - founder, pirate overlord, slayer of the cocktails 

Kanak is an entrepreneur with a love for wildlife and adventure. He runs a company that builds adventure parks and has run restaurants in Mumbai. At Suzie’s, his job is to tame bureaucrats, mixers-gone-wild and the occasional reptile that visits their garden.
